Return of all Items
We accept the return of items only if they are unopened and in their original condition. To return an item to us you must contact us within 7 days of their delivery to inform us of your intention to do so. All returns must be arranged through Customer Service, who will issue you with a returns authorisation number. If you return goods, as detailed, within 21 days of delivery to you, we will issue a refund to you for the price you paid for the item less the cost of transporting the goods to you and less any other charges we have incurred in fulfilling your order. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. Items returned, at your expense, are still your responsibility while they are in transit.
Goods returned which have been damaged or used will not be accepted and the customer will be informed accordingly to arrange collection.
* Any free gifts supplied with the item must be returned with any at the same time. Items not returned will be charged at their full retail value and will be deducted from any refund
Faulty or damaged items
Items damaged in transit can be returned. Please ensure that you have sign for the consignment as damaged or unchecked and notify Customer Services within 24 hours of receipt . A Faulty item can be returned at any time during its warranty period. Please ensure items are suitably packed. Items delivered on a pallet will need to be palletized when collected. Return packaging is the responsibility of the customer. Where collection is arranged by Design Home and Garden, the responsibility for making goods available for collection remains with the customer. We will endeavour to notify of the day of collection, however we cannot guarantee a specific time. Where collection has been arranged and fails due to the goods not being made available the cost of the aborted collection will be deducted from any refund given.
Please note that we only accept returns of items that have been opened if they are defective. In the case of a defective product, when returning an item please provide a full description of the fault and return the defective item to us in its original packaging together with all warranty documents, manuals and accessories. For your protection we would recommend that you use a Recorded Delivery Service. Our Returns Policy does not affect your Statutory Rights. Items which have are found to be free of defect will be subject to our standard returns policy above and may be subject to deductions referred to therein if applicable. All items being returned must be correctly packed to prevent any damage. Goods received which have sustained damage during their return will be returned with the appropriate repair carried out. In these circumstances a replacement item will not be sent
Cancelling an Item
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you have the right to cancel the Contract for the purchase of any item within 7 working days of delivery. This applies to all of our products. To cancel the Contract please package the relevant item securely and mark the package 'Contract Cancellation' and send it to us so that we receive it within 7 working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. FREE GIFTS - If a free gift has been provided then it must be returned with item in any of the situations detailed above. If the free item is not returned the full retail value will be deducted from any refund given.
